The Clovercraft SMP uses AuraSkills to provide a handful of passive and active skills that players can level up while playing the game.
If you'd like to turn off AuraSkills for any reason while on the server, you can use the /toggleskills command. Please note this only disables AuraSkills for yourself, not other players. Your skills will remain disabled until you use /toggleskills again.
Throughout the Clovercraft SMP you may find various NPCs who offer dialogue, trades, or quests. This is all optional content, but ultimately provide access to unique rewards that are otherwise unavailable on the SMP.
NPC Quests are all based on a specific lore setting established in some pre-season world building. To discover more about the world, seek out NPCs and read through the available dialogue. If you'd like to share your discoveries, feel free to make a wiki page! but we're not telling.
For players who would like to build their own quests, we offer a volunteer program that allows our members to partner with Clovercraft staff and gain access to our server tools.
If you've got an idea for a quest you'd like to build, please open a new ticket on the Discord server in the #help-desk channel and send a message telling us a bit about your idea. Our staff team will review your concept for approval and may request edits or simply decline your concept. If your idea is approved, we'll work with you to get the resources and scripting you need set up, and to help fill in any edges of your plan that might need a little polish.
Once you're done building and the staff team has reviewed the quest, your quest will get announced on Discord and added to our NPC quest giver.
The following is a list of tools available for building Quests and NPCs on the Clovercraft SMP.
