You are of course welcome to play however you like, but these are the first few things we recommend doing your first time connecting to the Clovercraft SMP.
Players start their journey on the Clovercraft SMP next to the Cloak & Dagger Tavern, in our Spawn City. The city plays host to a variety of communal areas and social features.
- The Cloak & Dagger Tavern plays host to a variety of traders that sell useful starting gear, food, and drinks. There's also a lovely fishing pond out back.
- Avery's Observatory is home to various ocassional guest NPCs who may have quests related to the lore of our world. The Observatory serves as an embasy of sorts for the various mythical creatures in the world.
- Portal Plaza provides teleportation gateways that offer free transport to The Arcade, Creative World, and Resource World
- The Shopping District is planned for the space just beyond Portal Plaza. Here you can find shops to purchase materials from other players, or open your own!
- Starting Balance All players start with 500 coin in their bank. You can see your balance using
/balance.
- Get Basic Gear Visit spawn using the
/spawn command. Find our vendors inside the tavern just in front of our spawn point. Right clicking on an NPC shop opens their shop inventory. Pick up some basic survival tools here.
- Explore for a home The world of the SMP beyond Spawn City is wild and largely untamed, with a few exceptions. Travel by foot, boat, or
/wild teleport until you've found a place you'd like to call home.
Looking for something specific for your build? You can view our whole world map online! Check out our Bluemap
- Create a Land Once you've found a place to build, you'll want to create a land to protect your home. If you're setting up camp with other players, you might also want to join their land instead of creating a new one. To create a land, use
/land create [name].
- Claim chunks for your Land Lands contain claimed chunks. To claim a chunk for your land, use the command
/land claim. You can claim more specific shapes of land using /land selection.
- Visit The Banker Visit Banker Ali in the basement of the Cloak & Dagger Tavern (you can get there using
/spawn) and see what they buy. You can sell materials to the bank for in-game currency.
- Discover Secrets The Season 8 SMP is full of hidden locations and NPCs with detailed stories to discover. Find all of them to unlock the history of the SMP world!
- Play Minecraft! The rest is up to you! Take your adventure wherever you please. We ask that all players please be respectful of others so we can build our world together.
