Our fifth MSQ quest and final Nether dungeon is Deep Fire Foundry. After clearing out the main portion of Darkflame Keep in MSQ4, Avery and Bikz have been exploring the structure of the keep. They found a spot that probably leads to more areas to discover, but the two aren't agreed on how exactly to get through. Maybe you can help them out.
The hallway to the upper forge area and mines has collapsed. Avery would like us to dig our way through carefully, but Bikz has some other explosive ideas. Look for a weak point to break through.
Access to the main forge is controlled by a three-lock security system. Players will need to search the barracks and mines for each of three Forge Keys to gain access.
To claim the day and complete the dungeon, players must travel deep into the foundry and battle Ergeox, The Old Foundry Mech. This is a challenging battle that involves custom mechanics and a large battlefield. Come prepared.
To begin the quest you will need to have completed all preceding main story quests. Once you have, visit Avery in their observatory and they will explain to you where to go next.
After you've accepted the quest from Bikz, find a group of four friends to form a party. (hint: you can invite players to your party using the command /party invite <player>
.) The dungeon can be played with anywhere from two to six players, we recommend four.
When you've formed your party, use the command /dungeon play deep_fire_foundry
to invite your party to ready up. Once all members of your party are marked as ready, you will all be teleported into the dungeon. (hint: You can indicate you're ready by clicking the link in chat, or using the /ready
command.)
Explore and survive the dungeon, seeking out the keys you need to access the main forge. Once you've defeated Ergeox, you can use the command /dungeon leave
to leave the dungeon. Let Bikz know that you've cleared out the foundry and he'll unlock smithing tables for you!
